What do you check?
We check whether important factual claims are supported; whether statistics, quotations, dates and attributions stand up; whether the source actually supports the wording used; whether conclusions follow from the evidence; and whether the document contains hidden assumptions, contradictions, reasoning gaps, overclaiming or important contrary evidence.
This is not proofreading. We are not mainly looking for commas or prettier sentences.

What would you need from us?

Do not send passwords, credentials or unnecessary personal or sensitive information. Confidential or personal material is handled only where the appropriate data, security and contractual route is in place.

The review is led by Alan W Gallagher, founder of House of Carol in Bristol.
His background spans more than twenty years across IT services, information-security administration, healthcare, customer operations, procurement, technical operations and governance support — work that repeatedly depends on separating what sounds plausible from what the evidence actually supports.
