Complaints & remedy
If something is wrong, say what is wrong.
A mature service should make it possible to distinguish the complaint, the evidence and the remedy without defensiveness or theatre.
What you can raise
A complaint may concern service quality, failure to meet an agreed scope, communication, accessibility, privacy, information handling, billing, website content or another aspect of the customer experience.
How House of Carol should handle it
- Acknowledge and identify the exact issue.
- Separate what was agreed from what happened.
- Preserve relevant evidence and avoid altering the disputed record merely to make the complaint disappear.
- Assess urgency, customer harm and any legal, privacy, security or accessibility trigger.
- Propose and carry out a proportionate remedy where House of Carol is responsible.
- Verify the correction and record any reusable lesson.
Possible remedies
Depending on the facts and the engagement terms, a remedy might include explanation, correction, re-performance of affected work, provision of a missing deliverable, withdrawal of an erroneous statement, an accessibility workaround, a billing correction, refund or credit where contractually or legally appropriate, or another proportionate action.
How to raise one now
Email alanwgallagher1@gmail.com with “House of Carol complaint” in the subject line. Include enough information to identify the issue, but do not send passwords, credentials or unnecessary sensitive information.
What this page does not do
It does not override statutory rights, an agreed dispute clause or any remedy required by applicable law. Exact paid-service complaint and remedy arrangements belong in the relevant customer terms.
