Opening and Closing Times

Our standard school day runs from 9:20am to 3:00pm unless otherwise advised.

Please ensure pupils arrive on time and are collected promptly at the end of the day.

Absence Notes and Appointments

Please notify the school if your child is absent and send a written note on return. If your child has an appointment, please inform the class teacher in advance where possible.

Uniform

Pupils are expected to wear the agreed school uniform. Please label all clothing clearly to avoid lost items.

Healthy Lunches

We encourage healthy lunches each day. Fizzy drinks and high-sugar treats are not permitted in school. Please provide water and nutritious food options.

Medical Plan

Teachers do not administer medicines unless a formal agreed medical plan is in place. Please contact the office to discuss any medical needs for your child.

Homework Guidelines

Homework is assigned according to class level and focuses on revision, reading, and reinforcing classroom learning. Teachers will communicate expectations clearly for each year group.

Problem-Solving Tips

Encourage your child to break tasks into smaller steps, explain their thinking aloud, and keep trying with support. Praise effort and persistence.

SALF Folders

SALF folders support school-home communication and pupil progress. Please check the folder regularly and return any signed notes or completed items as requested.
